Visually impaired children ‘Reach for the Stars’

Children with visual impairment may soon be able to learn about the wonders of the universe thanks to a pioneering e-book.

Named Reach for the Stars, the book will use visual, audio and tactile cues to teach visually impaired readers aged 10 -12 about the science of astronomy.

A launch date has yet to be announced, but is expected to be available through Apple’s iBook store to download for free.
